Wild Mull

It’s now nearly 4 pm and The island is a at peace again after very strong wind and rain from early morning.

I had to get to get some provisions and I don’t think I have ever seen the sea acting so angry, with thousands of white horses cresting the waves and filling the sea absolutely¬† everywhere I looked.

They say it is something to do with the hurricane’s way out across the Atlantic and I am inclined to agree.

Across to the south of Mull now, there is a line of silver filling the horizon. Again the island changes its look, like a film star and looks quite glamorous.

An hour ago I had one of those wildlife moments here when a sparrowhawk came belting past the bird feeders, turned and pinned down and ate one of the birds feeding.

Dramatic yes and like us they do have eat occasionally !!
